Do I require a golf handicap to play golf at La Manga Club?
At La Manga Club you have the choice of three superb 18 hole championship golf courses on offer. If you are looking to play golf and currently do not have the required handicap certificate to play on the South course then do not worry; at La Manga Club you are able to play the North and West courses. If you wish to play on the South course whilst on your golf holiday you can do so via the golf academy. For maximum enjoyment for both yourself and other golfers, it is recommended that you have previous experience playing golf. |

How can I obtain a golf handicap at La Manga Club?
If you do not have an official handicap whilst on you golf holiday and wish to achieve one then you can do so directly at La Manga Club. The South golf course requires golfers to provide a handicap certificate to which you are able to obtain by joining up to a golf academy course. You will simply play three rounds of golf on the North or West courses. Your handicap will then be assessed from the scores of those three rounds.
Can I book my golf tee times in advance?
Yes, to book your tee times in advance you will be required to inform us during time of your golf package booking. Once you have proceeded to book your golf holiday you are able to request the number of golf rounds and desired tee times through us.
For all other non golf package holidays made through us, we ask you to book your golf directly with the clubhouse. Do I pay the golf green fees at time of booking?
By booking a golf package through us, you are able to choose the number of golf rounds and golfers who wish to play. Enter these details into our booking engine and the package price shown will include all green fees. If you are not booking a golf package through us but still wish to book golf along with accommodation, you can book directly through the golf clubhouse at La Manga Club.
Do I pay for the golf academy and lessons at time of booking?
If you are booking a golf package through us then the price will be added into the price. Once again if you are not booking a golf package but just accommodation, we will give you details on how to book the golf academy and/or golf lessons direct. It is strongly recommended that you book in advance for the golf academies and lessons are they prove to be a popular choice with all level of golfer.
Can I receive golf tuition at La Manga Club?

What is the best time in the year to play golf at La Manga Club?
Due to the fantastic Mediterranean climate all year round at La Manga Club, golfers who wish to play at the championship golf courses can do so throughout the year. Rainfall is very slim with mild weather in low season to allow golfers a pleasant warm golfing holiday even in winter. The weather will greet you to the region of Murcia as soon as you arrive with a great annual average temperature of 21 degrees.
Will I still get golf green fee discount by staying at the Las Lomas Apartments?
Booking a golf package through us will allow you to take advantage of the discounted green fee rates whether you are staying in the Principe Felipe Hotel or the Las Lomas Village apartments. You may also take up the special offers on discounted golf buggies and club hire as well as many other facilities at La Manga Club.
Do I need to take my own golf clubs with me to La Manga Club?
It is not necessary to bring your golf clubs with you on holiday to La Manga Club as provided is a large range of golfing attire to purchase and hire. At the Golf Pro Shop you can expect to find a selection of top make clubs for hire, including left handed clubs. All clubs can be hired in half or full sets. It is down to your personal preference to whether you wish to bring your own personal clubs with you. The Pro Shop at the Clubhouse also provides golf balls to purchase.
Is there a dress code to play on the golf courses?
At the La Manga Club you will discover a dress code that applies to the courses, golf academy, driving range and putting green areas. The dress code is enforced at all times and applies to all golfers and visitors accompanying golfers.
All recognised and accepted golfing headwear are accepted, caps must be worn with the peak at the front. Golf Shirts must have collars with either long or short sleeves. Long trousers must be tailors and appropriate for golf and shorts must be Tailored Bermuda shorts that are not below the knee and more than 10cms above the knee. Socks must be worn with shorts and of one single plain colour. Socks below ankle height are not permitted. Shoes with soft spikes are only permitted providing they are white or black in colour. Soft spikes are obligatory on all three courses. A spike changing service is available at the locker rooms in the main golf clubhouse.
The use of mobile phones is also not permitted other than making a call in a medical emergency. There are also emergency telephones positioned around the course.
When are the golf courses at La Manga Club closed for maintenance?
Please note that from time to time it is necessary to close part or all of a course for essential maintenance. Please ask us for details of the current up to date golf course maintenance schedule for La Manga Club. Alternatively you may view the Maintenance Schedule online.
What other golf facilities are at La Manga Club?
Amongst the three championship 18 hole courses, adults and juniors can participate in two fun golf courses for all ages to enjoy. La Manga Club has both crazy golf and Pitch and Putt courses. Both are centrally located within the club, close by to the tennis centre. The crazy golf is solely a fun course for the enjoyment of all players young and old. The Pitch and Putt golf course is a little more serious at par 42 the course will test your short golf game skills with bunkers and water hazards present.
What if I want to book last minute golf tee times?
If you have booked your golf package or holiday accommodation through us at short notice, you may be required to arrange your tee times directly with the golf club house when you arrive at La Manga Club. We recommend pre-booking your golf tee times as far in advance if possible to ensure you receive your desired tee times.
