West Golf Club Hole 10: Par 4 - 303m (331 yards)
This par 4 is the beginning hole of the back nine on the West Golf Club at La Manga. Offering a real challenge to all golfers the split fairway is blocked by trees with the second half of the fairway 30 metres to the right, also obscured slightly behind the trees when looking from the tee off area. The ideal route of play is to carry 180metres from the tee onto the second half of the fairway. The more experienced and accurate players will be able to take a driver and take the narrow line between the trees. However players should not under estimate the approach to the green as being small and slightly elevated it is also protected by two green side bunkers on each side of the putting surface to catch stray shots.
West Golf Club Hole 11: Par 4 - 332m (363 yards)
This dog leg left gives players the opportunity to either play it safe or go for a good score by cutting the corner. The ideal route is to cut the corner over the trees down to onto the left hand side of the fairway. This requires players to be confident in their drive to guarantee avoiding any problems with the trees. The green is of a generous size that should be easy to reach with only the one small bunker protecting. With plenty of room surrounding the green, players can be confident in achieving at least par.
West Golf Club Hole 12: Par 4 - 335m (366 yards)
This par 4 narrow dog leg left requires at least two well placed accurate shots to find the green on target. Surrounded by trees down both sides of this hole, golfers will need to take care including down the right side of the fairway due to the out of bounds area from the fairway to the green. The narrow 20 metres wide fairway does not give players much room for error so a club for accuracy over distance is recommended. The green is fairly small which is also very slightly elevated and protected from the front by two bunkers. With trees again surrounding the green, players require accuracy to ensure to par.
West Golf Club Hole 13: Par 3 - 164m (179 yards)
This is deemed to be one of the most difficult par 3 holes on the West Golf Club Course. Requiring an excellent shot to guarantee par, this hole will test players skill with an uphill hole and green sloping back to front. Protected by a single bunker the green can be difficult due to the slight step in the putting surface.
West Golf Club Hole 14: Par 4 - 280m (306 yards)
Hole 14 is another dog leg left at only 280 metres. At par 4, golfers have the choice of taking the more direct route cutting the corner over the trees. From the tee off area, players are able to reach a distance of up to 250 metres by cutting the corner, leaving a great approach to the green. With plenty of room around the green, golfers are able to score with a par. However those golf players who are taking the more conservative route down the left hand side. The green is generous but players must be aware of the pin position as it is slightly tiered.
West Golf Club Hole 15: Par 5 - 440m (480 yards)
Playing downhill, this par 5 double dog leg features a good enjoyable hole. Players will find themselves required to carry over 245 metres to surpass the gully hazard. From the landing area of the second half of the fairway, golfers will have the natural desire to reach the green in two, but with trees occupying the fairway centre the preferential route is down the right hand side. Leaving 100 to 120 metres to the centre of the green, golfers will have a small target to hit even with a short iron. With green side bunkers surrounding the green, golfers will find this a great addition to the West Golf Club.
West Golf Club Hole 16: Par 3 - 174m (159 yards)
Hole 16 the last of the par 3’s featuring tricky burrows, bunkers and contoured land. From the tee off area, any straying shots from the landing area could leave players with a difficult up and down, more so if just shy of reaching the green. The green itself is elevated slightly whilst being protected by two small sized bunkers. Golfers will discover the generous green should secure a score of par easily from the putting surface.
West Golf Club Hole 17: Par 4 - 401m (438 yards)
The penultimate hole of the La Manga Club West Golf Club Course at 401 metres golfers should play this as a par 5. With numerous hazards featured throughout this 90 degree dog leg left, this hole should be played conservatively. The ideal route from the tee off area is to lay up just shy of the series of fairway bunkers down the left hand side. Once the second fairway is reached, golfers should note that water hazards are found both sides. With a mid iron shot players should be a mere 100 or so metres to the green from this second shot. The green itself is quite small whilst protected by a small bunker to the left with water to the right. With the green sloping from the left to right, players must take note of the water hazard but play with confidence.
West Golf Club Hole 18: Par 4 - 364m (398 yards)
This is the final hole of the La Manga Club West Golf Club Course. The 18th tee is taken from an elevated position to encourage golfers of a long drive. The generous fairway features two bunkers on the left and right hand sides. Players will find the fairway at ease from the tee with a good drive. The green is small and protected by two bunkers with little room for error due to the trees present behind the green.
